The lake of Biscarrosse is part ofone of the biggest lakes in France with a total surface of 5600 hectares, without counting that of Parentis with a surface of 3400 hectares. Indeed, the commune of Biscarrosse is crossed by several water bodies: the lake of Cazaux and Sanguinet, the lake of Biscarrosse-Parentis and the small lake. The last one being the one in the middle of the two bigger ones.
